Oh, sweet, ladies–thanks for the recommendations! I’m really enjoying the YA books I’m reading now.

Edie–I’m open to non-paranormals, too. I’m really trying to branch out lately.

Lori, I love those titles–City of Bones and City of Ashes–if I were in the store and saw those, I’d pick them up just for the titles.

If you’re liking YA novels now, definitely check out Rachel Caine’s Morganville Vampire series. THe first book of the series is called “Glass Houses”

I read YA’s too. Rosemary Clement-Moore is good for a Paranormal YA. Recently I read a plain ‘ol YA by Melissa Schorr. I really enjoyed it, even though there was nothing urban, or paranormal about it. *G*

I am loving the House of Night novels by P.C and Kristin Cast. Also, The Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine are really good. Plus City of Bones and City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare…also, very good.

Just a few more suggestions.

It does sound like wicked fun. I read YAs, too, that were great, thanks to Amy Knupp. The Ally Carter books are great! They’re not paranormal, but fun all the same.
