Hope everyone is gearing up for a great Thanksgiving. I haven’t even purchased my turkey yet–ack! I’m making my grocery list today, and trying to figure out what sort of pies I’ll make. Any suggestions?

I hope your turkey has time to thaw! I live in GA, and we love pecan pie or sweet potato pie. This year I’ve fixed a coconut cake and wedding cookies (OMG, they melt in your mouth).

I bought my turkey almost two weeks ago. But, it will take about 4 days to thaw in my fridge. *G* I’m not making pie, we’re not big on those. Instead I was begged to make chocolate eclair dessert. *G* Who am I to argue? *G* Best of luck with the turkey and pies!

I’ve never made sweet potato pie, but might try it this week. I’ll look up recipes at All Recipes. My favorite site!
I am making a sweet potato casserole. We’re eating at my in laws, so I have it easy. But the hard part is no leftovers. I love leftover turkey and will miss that.

Will be making pumpkin pies tonight. Also gotta make sure the turk is thawed. Every year I try to include a new recipe and this year will be egg nog bunt cake. The little darlin’ wants to make that.

pumpkin cheesecake with pecan carmel sauce. I don’t have a real recipe I just wing it.
2 book bundle for the Sony —- I think I might deserve a treat and I am really thankful for my Sony.
